Therapy help parents in a multitude of ways:

Prevents Isolation

Parenting is a beautiful and heart-opening journey. It can also be an incredibly humbling, challenging and lonely one. Feeling supported on this wild ride is essential. As the saying goes, it takes a village.

Becoming the Parent You Want to Be

So often parenting can bring up some of our own, earlier wounds as we experience our child’s development. These moments can be challenging and overwhelming, as we work to offer our children what they need while also tending to our own needs. We work with parents to better understand these complex dynamics that can get in the way of feeling steady and sturdy as a parent.

Understanding Your Child

Learn to decode what your child’s behaviors really mean is an art form. We work collaboratively with caregivers to help provide insight into what their child might be asking for or trying to communicate. We also work with caregivers to create supportive strategies for challenging moments.
