I strive to create a nurturing environment where individuals and families feel understood, and empowered. I approach therapy with a non-judgmental and empathetic attitude so clients can freely explore their thoughts, feelings, and behaviors and work toward the goals that brought them to therapy.

As a graduate of the Erikson Institute with a master's degree in child development and social work, I apply a developmental and psychodynamic lens that centers relationships and early experiences within one’s cultural context. My work with children and parents is collaborative and supports the client’s emotional needs in a compassionate and kind space.

Monica is the Founder and Designer at Hold Space Creative. She's a former Art Therapist and coach, and she's passionate about making mental healthcare more accessible by helping therapists & coaches present themselves in a more accessible way. She's based in Michigan, and when she's not designing websites, she can usually be found somewhere in nature.
